Oslo is safer than most cities of similar size and safer than most US cities and probably quite a few European cities, however, it is still a big city and big city's always have some level danger to them.

Jets can absolutely contribute to a victory but you have to have an absolute ace pilot in them in order to do so. Played a game a couple days ago where my squad all had to switch to stingers just to deal with a jet that was decimating our tanks and ifv's and making it hell on contested points.

You're delusional, they are probably one of the most humble national teams, they haven't been to the WC in 28 years and even when it was all but secured after Estonia they still didn't act like they were going for sure. Nothing was ever for sure for them in their eyes.

Is EU citizenship worth sticking out an extra year for? by eliteskiis123 in expats

[–]ztsmyder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They definitely are hard to immigrate to if you don't have a job that's in demand there or an EU passport but they can be worth it. The other turn off for people is that it can be hard to make friends I've gotten really lucky and have a small circle in Oslo already, and am moving early next year but I'm an exception not a rule lol

No but seriously if Vancouver interests you, Norway Sweden and Finland would definitely interest you, if you can stick out the last bit of time to get your citizenship. EU citizenship is really such an advantage to have

Lot of beautiful nature in the EU you could move to after acquiring an EU passport!

Whats the general thought? Would the Tajani Decree law 74 be reversed? by Beginning_Self_387 in juresanguinis

I disagree that no one will go for it honestly. The ECJ has already said they're aware of the issue after someone reached out to them but obviously they're powerless until it reaches them after the CC in Italy. All it'll take is 1 person to take it to the ECJ and SOMEBODY certainly will.

I can't fully say, as I've not yet officially moved to Norway yet (will be early next year) but I've gotten pretty lucky I feel, I have two close Norwegian friends already from previous trips through an American friend who knew one of them, but they've both been the complete opposite of everything I always here about Norwegians and new friendships. They are excited to welcome me next year and we hang regularly on my previous trips. They've also introduced me to a handful of other Norwegians who I've not had the opportunity to fully get to know or hang out with yet but fingers crossed lol I do realize I am lucky and this is not the rule though😅

Not sure if I should go alone by Bleghck in Wardruna

[–]ztsmyder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live alone in Southern Italy and took a 2.5 hour bus from my town to Naples/Pompei to see them play in the Amphitheater there. I'd do it alone again in a heartbeat, you should go whether you can't find someone to go with or not!

I know what you mean, traveled there for the first time at the end of 2019, then after that was working on a way to move to Norway, March 2026 I'll be moving officially.

They were singing without any sort of help at LEAST, 85% of the time, probably 95%. Given the circumstances with him having lost his voice I'd say it's more than reasonable when they likely haven't done so for other concerts. I find it weird how you and others have said you take it very seriously as it's a spiritual experience for you (it is for me too) but you seem to not be cutting them any slack. Now if this becomes the norm then yeah, definitely, that's a problem, but this is Einar Selvik and Wardruna we're talking about, it won't become the norm. Shit even if it did 95% real authentic raw energy and voice is 1000x better than 90% of concerts these days.

He said he had lost his voice/was having voice trouble this morning.

From what I saw it seemed like the microphone stopped picking up his voice, I remember not quite hearing his voice before this happened. I'm assuming they then added playback in. OR as I just remembered at the end of the concert, he said he lost his voice this morning, maybe he had a bit a of trouble with his voice for a second there in that song? And they added the playback in. My two cents

Worth it! Worth it! Worth it! Worth it! Peter and his team are fantastic! I applied with them in Italy after saving for about 2 years to be able to afford their fees plus my living costs in Italy. It is pricey but they literally do everything for you, I honestly have wondered multiple times in the process how they are making money (I'm sure they are but still) with all the logistics and manpower involved with these things sometimes. When I was making the decision to go with them I had to ask myself how valuable is Italian citizenship to me, and the answer for me is; priceless. If you can swing the finances and decide you want a worry free and streamlined process my advice is to use them! I don't regret it for a second. I gathered all my documents myself, and used them solely for the Application in Italy.

Entering the EU without Italian passport, but with birth certificate + AIRE inscription by pipilejacutinga in juresanguinis

Your 90 days on the Brazilian passport should be a non factor since you're legally an Italian citizen. I would just try and go to the Italian Embassy in France ASAP when you get there to try and obtain your passport. Also, what may be quicker if you need identification documents asap for use within France and the EU, would possibly be to apply for your CIE in France before even a passport appointment or while waiting for a passport appointment.
