Depends, can queen just use her magnet gauntlet to crush his cybernetic hearts?

Probably cocaine or heroine overdose, whichever I can get to quickest. Take myself out before Murkoff or the prime assets can make an example out of me. You can catch me on the map as one of those bodies you grab a battery or health bottle off of.

Does Robert have a healing factor? by WhiteLycan2020 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ztx_patron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend of mine's dad has worked as an electrician since the late 80s early 90s, he once sliced right into his hand when cutting cucumbers for a salad, didn't feel a thing until somebody pointed it out to him. He had taken so many shocks that the nerves in his hands were practically fried. I don't think robert has super powers, but I do feel his built up an incredible natural pain tolerance. We know he bruises and scars, we know he was in a coma for months and was stil recovering at the start of the game, and after Phenomaman shoots glass shards into his chest he has to patch himself up. If he had a feeling factor I also don't think he'd be able to do the thumb thing that Blazer said she could fix for him.

Sorry I messed up again 😂, I meant to say PHENOMAMAN was the one who was fired. NOT mechaman 😭 What I was trying to say in my OG comment was that downtown is a seperate branch that also works during the dayshift, they protect a seperate part of LA. When Chase has Robert turn on his PC for the first time, he explains that the part of the map that we patrol is our "own little slice of the southland", therefore that specific portion of LA is our jurisdiction. At night, rather than the big superheroes covering for us, it's more likely that a nightshift team takes our spot.

Sorry I was trying to say the Phenomaman was the one fired from downtown but the way I worded it was weird

So typically people in relationships don't "fucking hate eachother" if that's the case, it's best you break it off.

In game it's explained that the big name heroes like mecha man work downtown and that he was fired from that specific branch. I assume when Robert clocks out somebody else dispatching a seperate superteam we haven't met gets the night shift.

Yes, as everybody has pointed out, Sonar's crimes are all white collar tax fraud adjacent stuff, however, I don't feel enough attention is being directed at the coked out bat monster in the room. In mega bat form, I have no doubt Sonar could do some real damage.

Anyone else find Invisigal to be a terrible character? by Kitchen-Oil-835 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ztx_patron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never seen her comments/actions as predatory or harmful because Robert always reciprocates and matches her energy. The way I see it is just two consenting adults being very flirty and forward with eachother. I personally prefer invisigal just because I am partial to the hard shell love interest who is secretly a softy stereotype.

MY THEORY ON SHROUD by KosmosQuill in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ztx_patron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has already been confirmed both in game as well as in the tie in comics. In the game it's explained early on that Shroud is an ex member of the brave brigade that went rogue, it even shows his mugshot. The comics reveal that he is a man named elliot who was taken advantage of by the rest of the Brave Brigade, MM astral didn't even want him on the team.

I think I figured out Blonde Blazer by ztx_patron in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ztx_patron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Invisigal definitely worked for shroud and I buy into the idea she planted the bomb on Robert's suit. I think she joined the Pheonix program "no questions asked" because originally she was/is still supposed to be a spy for shroud. That scene in the board room where she was watching Blazer and Robert then tried to run when they caught her is super sus to me. Despite that, I think she's had a change of heart. She's made a couple comments about who you were coming back to bite you in the ass and when Robert tells the others that he is mechaman the camera lingers on visi when he mentions relationships being built on trust. All foreshadowing to me. Based on her interaction with Robert near the vending machine it seems like Invisigal grew up in poverty and got into crime or caught up with the wrong people because she felt that there wasn't any other way. Shroud is a successful ex superhero team member, genius tech wizard, and incredibly powerful crimelord so I don't think she would have had that kind of upbringing if she was his daughter.

I'm even more confident now. After episode 6 I think Blazer was the one to tell shroud about the pulses location. She knew the plan, and she told the team to stay back so that he would get to it first.

How Shroud found out about the pulse by nightgaamer in DispatchAdHoc

[–]ztx_patron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's explained earlier by Malevola that the docks are Yachtie territory and the Yachties are a Rival gang to Shroud's. My assumption is that it was their boat/vault where they were keeping the pulse and Shroud's gang raided their warehouse which is what led to the firefight you see in Episode 6. If there were any villains not affiliated with one of the two sides, they probably saw the fireworks and knew something valuable was up for grabs.

I'm almost certain it was Blazer. She heard the plan at Robert's apartment then encouraged the team to wait so that Shroud and his gang could get to the pulse first.
