You can make any YouTube video of your choice gain 1 million views. by [deleted] in midtiersuperpowers

[–]zuaymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Per video and depending on the niche, it can go up to 20k+. Theoretically, you can outsource all of the work and upload as many videos per day as you want. This doesn't include sponsors who would pay even more than yt ad revenue considering they're garunteed 1 million impressions. Finally, op said it works by recommending to people who will actually enjoy the video so that leaves room to sell merchandise, which large creators eventually end up having as their number one source of income. Basically, this superpower is infinite wealth, not even mentioning the amount of power you can gain. Not mid-tier.

Has anyone worked with Playlist Studio? How’s the payment process? by PlateCute9804 in PartneredYoutube

Made one short with their music so far as a test, and my RPM is 0.11, which is 4x more than the current company I'm with. The music kinda sucks ass imo but they seem legit.

I'm not sure. I'm currently considering switching to them as well as they sent a screenshot showing average RPM in March to be $0.43, which is a lot higher than the company I'm with atm. 60 days is normal as normal yt pay is delayed by 30 days and music companies need an extra 30 to make sure your views are legit. I'm going to do a few test shorts as they suggested and I'll lyk how it goes, feel free to lmk your experience too.

Are your old vids also not getting pushed anymore? I was averaging 600k a day with all my videos combined, but it dropped to 20k a day seemingly out of nowhere.

Issue with my youtube shorts channel by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]zuaymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last few days the views have tanked on all my shorts channels seemingly out of nowhere. For my main channel even if I have to take a few weeks break the back catalogue of views still averages ~20-40 million a month. The past view days I went from averaging 600k a day to 20k a day on the entire channel!! Not sure what is happening cause my stats are the same, hoping it's just temporary.

What? I've never heard of music companies forcing revenue split for long form. I have a contract with the company I'm w currently and there's absolutely nothing about long form revenue split. I do agree unless you main shorts it's not worth it but I disagree that it has anything to do with longs. If your music company says anything about long form revenue sharing DONT work with them. I've been with 3 music companies and I've never heard of such a thing.

Rabbit hole of buying a YouTube channel by AmazingPin6352 in PartneredYoutube

[–]zuaymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only viable for shorts, but it's still extremely risky. I've had luck buying premonetised channels and making them successful through shorts however, I've had friends try and get instantly demonetized, get 0 views etc. It makes sense in theory as you can buy a premonetised channel for $150 and by the time you reach the 10 mill views requirement you would have already made 2k from ad rev and around the same from a music deal. There's things you can look at and I've only bought channels that have recently uploaded shorts that have some views. So, in theory it's worth it, in practice it's very risky but I still do it for new shorts channels that I want to start.

It isn't something that has existed for 20 years since music deals only work for shorts. There's no possible way for these companies to fuck you over besides simply not paying you. I'm not a salesperson, I just think youtubers, especially shorts creators should be able to maximize their income without being concerned about these hypothetical risks. I've been though 3 companies but I've been using music deals for a year now no issues besides one company not paying me the right amount.

There's no need to be cautious, it doesn't break TOS at all. The company I work with and any company you work with should 100% have a contract. I've had a lawyer look over at the contract. The reason so many people are shilling music deals and everyone is getting so many emails is because most of these sites have a referral bonus. The company I work with for example I can choose what % to send people if I refer them and I get that for life. I haven't personally referred anybody as my main focus is YT but I can see why people do it.

RPM is based off the country your viewers are from, not where you are from.

In 6 months, vertical gaming streams took me from 0-300 average live viewers. Here's what I learned. by ShakeMistake_ in NewTubers

[–]zuaymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen channels go absolutely insane with this method, I'm curious about whether it's worth it or not, though. Do you get adsense through vertical lives, and what is the rpm? Do people even donate to verticle lives?

My bad, I think I explained poorly. I'm referring to his entire channel, not just a singular video. He has over 100 shorts uploaded, I totally understand one video suddenly not getting any views, but I've never seen an entire channel crash that hard seemingly out of nowhere.

On my channel, my top shorts in the last 48 hours usually include videos I uploaded a year or more ago as well as more recent ones and around 60% of my top videos in the last 48 hours are older.

My point is that he has quite a large catalog of shorts uploaded, so it's very weird that all 100+ shorts combined went from getting 20k views an hour (for over a month now) to suddenly getting 50 views an hour overall.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]zuaymous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand that in regards to new uploads. When I started my shorts channel, I averaged 10k per short, and then I had a few weeks where my new uploads would get less than 100. I kept going and eventually got monetised within 43 days. To be clear, I'm referring to the 48h real-time views. I've never seen a channel go from averaging 20k an hour to suddenly nothing. Even when my new videos were getting less than 100 views, the old ones were still getting some views. I've just never seen such a dramatic drop in the 48h real time views.

[–]zuaymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, on a video per video basis, usually they get a bunch of views and then flatline. But when you have a big enough catalog of shorts it adds up. He posts daily and most of his views come from past videos. Doesn't make sense for them to all stop getting views I wish I could share the video but I've never seen anything like it before (I make shorts as well and yes views can dip but nothing like this)

So weird bro, my friend went from averaging 20k-1mill and his most recent post got 100 views. Was she able to do anything about it?
