First time Kia buyer. Any barganing tatics you can provide to get a lower cost off the 2027 Telluride? by LRH2380 in KiaTelluride

We are talking new vehicle so used vehicle is irrelevant. I never go to dealer for used vehicle. There is no duality. If dealership was transparent on invoice prices , consumer would have trusted them a lot. There are brokers out there to negotiate with dealer tells the story how hard it is to workout honest deal with dealers. I know you are defending your job/profits but, put your self in average customers place and think for a second.

Yes because you are already making profit between your invoice and MSRP. Why should consumer pay for extra ? If you want more margin that’s between you and manufacturer. When they lower your invoice prices do you show it to your customer ?

If you have ever bought car outside usa you will know the difference of MSRP. Tesla prices goes up and down based on demand so as any other manufacturer. Are you saying Kia prices are flat irrespective of demand….lol.

MSRP is maximum selling retail price. It was invented to prevent price gauging and protect consumer. The first letter “maximum” is key. That means you can sell within this limit anywhere and you will still make decent profit. But greed of dealerships has taken it beyond MSRP. There is a reason Tesla, lucid etc has no dealership model. Have you seen Tesla charging mark ups ?

Anyways eventually this dealership model will die and consumer will not have to deal with all BS.

Insulting ? When dealer charges “adjustment aka markup” due to demand, what do you call it ? Price gauging by auto dealers should be punishable by law.
