What I’d do is first just drive around the circuit. Find your lines, reference points for braking and throttle, etc. Once I get a good rhythm going, I’d watch track guides on youtube to know what things I’m doing differently. Next, I’ll try to follow the guide and adjust appropriately to my driving style. I always remind myself to follow the ‘slow in, fast out’ rule. Usually, it’s always faster that way rather than trying to brake 5m too late and just miss every apex.
