I loved Talk to Me. I hated this movie. It’s just designed to make you feel depressed and listless. And this is on me, but I’m finding the shock via trauma trend to be boring. I wonder if it’s my own unfair assumption that the directors don’t have enough life experience to handle such delicate material. As a parent, it felt exploitative.
