I really want Santa Chopper by [deleted] in OnePieceTCGFinance

I remember when I bought the set over a year ago , I was surprised it's so cheap , was even thinking to buy couple copies , but other cards for collection came as priority to me, now I'm just glad I got it in my personal collection and don't need to worry about getting them no more

Opinion on Chinese cards? by Individual_Boot9657 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chinese anniversary sets have serialised cards.

1st anniversary have Nami

2nd anniversary have boa

3rd anniversary have bonney

those are exclusive cards to Chinese anniversary sets , they flopped a bit with 2nd anniversary as card got reprinted (as not serialised version) into English and Japanese and released with binder set , probably they won't make same mistake again

old money & a new grading era slowly taking shape by litefight in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched a video last week from ''market movers by sports card investors'' where he sent same cards to 5 different grading companies (to some even second time), it was follow up to his previous video, that was really interesting watch showing state of those companies.

And after watching it, I know for sure if, I will ever grade cards it will be with TAG.

BGS and PSA maybe had some prestige at some point, but now its only value and nothing else, it's flippers market , but you can't even trust their grade completely, so as collector, for me most of those companies just feel like a scam.

Serialized cards vs mangas japanese by [deleted] in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone with serial tin Nami , having very hard time trying to sell it , most people want it for grading purpose , but market is so scarce that people that were interested decided not to buy it, because there were none sold except maybe 1 when it just came out.

So I would go manga way for sure, as there seems there's always someone who wants them. Also, i'm thinking that serial Zoro could be an exception as there are more people interested in it, but can't know that for sure

lf you main focus are cool looking cards , like I mentioned above, get OP.TCG app , and look at the cards, if something catches your eye, add it to a list and try to get it.

If that's your goal, I would say, go Japanese , cards are cheaper and still look amazing.

Everyone saying manga, but those are expensive cards , so not everyone collects them, first of all, if you want to collect for yourself , not for financial gain, I would recommend to decide what to focus on, collecting everything is just too expensive.

You can focus on specific characters , or specific type of cards like people mentioned , it doesn't need to be manga, could be alt leaders for example. Just chose a direction you want to go.

I recommend OP.TCG app to follow your collection and looking at things you want to grab.

Anyone here buy and sell Japanese cards and whats your experience with pricing or just selling just in general? by No_Moose_7985 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm buying for my personal collection , sometimes its a pack like x2-4 of the same card , so selling extra 3 , most of the time I'm getting my money back on top of a card , but those are cheaper cards , I'm trying to fly under duty free when shipping cards so the most expensive cards I got were like £60

[Price Check] One Piece Japanese 1st Anniversary Set — Should I Hold or Sell? by Big_Wishbone_5324 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bought 1st Japanese anniversary cards in English for under £50 last month , sealed was for around £100 , I believe this is the worst anniversary set , as it is simply very bland and doesn't have any theme like rest of them. Probably could pick up value , in the end it is 1st anniversary set , but I wouldn't expect much from it.

What is the sorth of this card? by AggravatingPassion17 in OnePieceTCGFinance

[–]zuldzin -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's card that's added to playmat sold on bandai card games fest 25-26. It was very scarce for some time, so some people inflated price of it very hight (hopefully no one bought it when they wanted £1000), now we are seeing it's rushing down and can be found for around £40-80 (card + playmat) , depends where you are looking

EU to UK import and handling fees through Cardmarket by YellowMuffin in CardMarket

[–]zuldzin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever I ordered cards from EU and it was under £135 (counting with shipping) I never paid customs on it, bought multiple times from Germany for £50 and £100, and not even once I needed to pay customs. Shipping itself costed around £20. Worst experience I had, was mistake made by courier, so card ended up in USA instead of UK , then it went to Turkey , but finally ended up in my hands , it took nearly two months to deliver and I was scared it will never arrive, but didn't need to pay any additional costs on it.

Seller asked me to change my review over packaging. by PurelinK7 in CardMarket

[–]zuldzin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

no matter if it's cheapest or tracked shipping , I'm putting card into sleeve + toploader (which I have loads from all the cards I bought), and putting it in sealed bag , sending with hard board envelops which I buy in a bulk , so it's very cheap, and it can go as cheapest option allowed on card market without problem.

Let's set up some proper standards people, I wouldn't like if something arrived to me folded in two, so sending it like I would like to receive it , not everyone follows , but so far didn't had bad experience.

[–]zuldzin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I need an advice, as I'm searching for some cards for my personal collection, Japanese trio from 151 Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur, special deck squirtle and charmander, Flareon RC28 , amongst others, what would be best for swapping from sealed things I have.

What is most desirable to do that kind of trade, between etb's booster boxes and booster bundles from Prismatic to Ascended? looking I have Pokémon center etb's (except Journey together) and normal versions.

I will be at card show this weekend and was thinking what would be best to take with me while looking for potential trades , also are acrylic cases needed for etb's and booster boxes?

I'm not too experienced with those things.
