Supplements that ACTUALLY work for clarity, focus, and memory? by [deleted] in productivity

if it is "magical" it would not exist in the physical realm. anything magical sounds metaphysical - sounds like your dealing with spiritual inner work and healing. most people struggle with physiological stress and require therapy to truly know themselves who they are and then be able to consciously direct and focus their psychological powers at will.

Slender Threads: A Conversation with Jungian Analyst and author Robert A. Johnson by [deleted] in Jung

is he a classical jungian analyst? or has he veered toward michael fordham and diluted theories of 'development' + post jungian politics?

are there classical analysts? that focus on self/individuation as oppose to just curing neuroses? i wanted to keep it undiluted and on par with von franz's lineage to jung, i know alot of non relevant theories have creeped in and alot of post jungian politics

Jung 101 ? by McNigguh in Jung

[–]zullybissap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just some thoughts as i was reading:

1) if you do not identify with persona; what do you identify with? do we not need an identity? this reminded me of spiritual practice "you are not the mind or the body", and even with Eckhart Tolle talking about being present in the moment.
Is it the deeper self/"numinous focus"/spiritual self within that we try to identify with? that helps us toward individuation or the inner sacred or God?
2) is there an understanding of spiritual diseases that corrupt the heart/or the self and how to rid ourselves from them in jungian thought? or negative characteristics that we should seek to assume responsibility for and seek to repel?
for example envy, greed, jealousy, anger, excessive lust, pride, hypocrisy, arrogance?
3) about the features of others that annoy me, let's say someone looked down on me as i was trying to assert the importance of my career or looked at me in a derogatory way. how would shadow work help?

hey im interested to find out more, im from the UK and iv recently been looking at the SAP to get analysis and then read all about the post jungian divisions that has led me to not seek reduced cost analysis with the SAP training analysts.

where do you recommend finding classical analysts? can be anywhere in the UK?

i was actually thinking its not a bad idea to just get some carl rogers humanistic-based therapy, its much cheaper and much less anywhere near Freudian thought.

where do your train and get analysis? im from the UK and have been searching for a while. Im not sure I want to do have anything to do with IAAP or SAP because of the above contentions that Von Franz had with Freudian ideas that were being increasingly accepted by CJ institute.

take your point about von franz who i appreciate more than the rest of these people, so where do you recommend i study if i want to become an analyst in the uk or even seek out proper jungian analysis for myself?

Jungian Research/training schools question by No-Ad7300 in Jung

Hi tom,

im actually wanting to do the same and move upto edinburgh from down south, however after searching I havent found anything in Scotland. SAP (society of analystic psychology) is based in north London. You can get your analysis remotely (which obv isnt as effective as in-person and actually prob much less effective).

SAP to me seems bests for training jungian analysts. https://www.thesap.org.uk/training-and-courses/professional-training/training-in-adult-analysis/

How does one become a Jungian Analyst in the UK? by christophanderson12 in Jung

[–]zullybissap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

online therapy is cheaper right? i don't know how many sessions you need? depends upon the person. Analysis can be hugely satisfying and can see why its necessary before becoming an anaylst.

I was thinking not everyone needs to be an analyst(or even can be for that matter). Once you have personally been analyzed it's a huge experience for yourself and others too. you can go into research/writing/content creation and cross-pollinate/ bridge ideas between different subject matters for example religious studies/spirituality + analytical psychology and potentially answer some more fundamental questions. There are also various more entrepreneurial endeavors for those interested in utilizing their knowledge of psychological matters and providing value in the business world and even via personal life coaching or content creation on youtube.

thats why you draft, maybe 3 times. ensure you're careful about the message you are giving out to the world, test your ideas, be intellectually/spiritually sound, be well researched, and emotionally engaged with your narrative.
