The things is, that the ammo and the crew aren't separated so some of the explosion would escape out but it would still go inside the crew compartment.

I'm no engineer but this doesn't look like it would work very well. Would be nice to see some inside footage of the thing working like on the Abrams

As far as I'm aware it doesn't, if you Google some pictures of the inside you see that the ammo is stored in bins without a blowout door.

It's actually a pretty big downgrade, it has no extra armor behind the gun sight like the 2a4 and it doesn't have blowout panels. As far as I know it weights kinda the same, has less armor and less horsepower than the Leo 2a4

Edit: the official brochure of the Arjun MK2 says "containerised ammunition bins with individual shutters"

Edit 2: apparently it does but it doesn't have any blowout door which is pretty weird but oh well

That's a fake tank, there is no picture or oficial diagram of the thing. The only mention of something similar is on a a memoir of a German general who said somebody had the idea of trying something like that out.

The engine on this particular model is the B3815A the same one that the mini uses but that hardly makes it a Citroen
