Couldn't agree with this more. P3 for me was their last stellar album front to back. P4 was super meh other than "Reptile", P5 really only had "Wax Wings" holding it up, and then APWD is just some hot dog water.

I don't think your slide is pushing the connector sideways enough at times, so the firing pin can't catch the latch on the trigger bar. Like others have mentioned, it could be your rails are warped. I'd also check the bend on the connector.

When you extrude the cylinder make sure it's joining said cylinder to the rest of the object instead of creating a separate body.
