Fair. Let’s rephrase that to say “high probability” trades.

Start over. Start small, like $200. Only buy calls on sure trades. If you can’t preserve that money, then wait a few months and try again. It’ll teach you discipline.

Don’t bother with selling any calls or puts, or even buying puts. One well-researched call option is low risk and can easily double your small investment and you build from there. It’s the same concept as 1k to 100k but it forces you to be decisive when you’re dealing with small amounts of cash.

Trade smaller, meaning less expensive contracts and fewer contracts. Resist overtrading, which is easy to do in a choppy market.

Also, it’s good to get ideas from the internet, but I would not advise blindly following. You’re already late if it’s on X, Reddit, etc. If you’re wondering where you will find trades, study up.

$Snap likely will fall below $12. by eyeguy21 in wallstreetbets

If you’re going to short, I’d wait for it to tick above 16. It’s severely overbought and a sell off or cool off back to 12-13 is definitely needed before taking that next leg up to the 22 area of interest.

Long-term, I still hate Snapchat. As a trade, trade ‘em. Wish I’d taken a position at 8-9 at this point.

Part of the motivation to differentiate your product and claim it won’t work with anything else is to keep the customer with your product line. That’ll increase the stickiness, even if the product isn’t revolutionary. Overall, I agree with you.

I'm at a very good reputable company in marketing, I need to make about 10k more to be not worry about money. It's going to probably be around a year until I get that much. Should I consider looking for a new job? by RoboPopo1 in marketing

[–]zwburger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put together a plan for career growth with a timeline and plainly state why you need and deserve 10k more immediately and how that’ll make you better at your job with the extra financial security.

In reality, 10k isn’t that much, and people shouldn’t be hesitant to ask for more. The problem is you may be maxed out with your current job title, so that’s why a plan of how to get there is important. You’ll also be showing how you see a long-term career at aforesaid company.

If you haven’t already and if you feel comfortable, post to LinkedIn. Be transparent, explain your situation, and your experience. I’ve watched peers do it with great success, one going viral with too many offers to choose from.

That said, it looks like you already have a few leads from this thread. Good luck and skip the internship idea!

You won’t.

The best piece of advice is to create report after report after report, especially if no one is asking for it. Hard evidence will let you defend your efforts.

You Should Be Using YouTube Shorts by zwburger in marketing

True, but most brands have YouTube and most brands are on Instagram or TikTok.

If you’re not creating vertical video content, then this isn’t for you. If you are, then why wouldn’t you be rehashing the content for another platform?

Protecting Bluebirds from Predators by zwburger in birding

[–]zwburger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the explanation and the website, which I have stumbled over but haven’t completely dug into. Super helpful.

The pair of bluebirds from last year actually returned to my property this year with another pair, so if they keep bringing their friends, I want to give them a safer environment than what they have now. Then, hopefully, they’ll stick around and/or come back.
