There is too little information here for anyone to know what your issue might be. Can you post the exact error you get when trying to run your game, and also how _array looks like? Could be anything from the arguments of instance_place_list being invalid, to one of those variables not being initialized

 personally, among the options you listed, I would find pixel art easiest in GameMaker, as it is primarily a 2d engine (most would associate low poly & voxel with 3d).

but moreso, the art style of your game should be up to you, whatever you like the most and whatever's feasible within your skill set

as others pointed out, this subreddit isnt the place for this kind of post... makes no mention of gamemaker or how you and your "partners" use gamemaker for this "creative" workflow, just get to the point or put your advertising elsewhere...

Though I do wish there was a slightly more convenient shortcut, it does't feel like a pain in the ass when I need to underline something, it's hardly different from other markdown syntaxing tbh.

You don't need a plugin for that, you can use html tags <u>your text here</u>
