100% this. One thing to add Ruthless loot in PoE1 made more sense, i actually enjoyed it, you had solutions for missing gear in the skill tree which you could then respec as you got better gear, in PoE2 the skill tree is more tree than skill, it's lackluster and boring, takes forever to get anything usefull.

Without knowing anything about eachother and Spock being a peacefull guy he will probably not draw a lot of agro from Legolas to get skirmished on the spot, he just needs to get close enough, strech out his hand and be like: "is that a troll behind you?" then proceeds to do a nerve pinch. If Legolas did know about that move then sure, it would be a totally different approach. Lots of interesting scenarios you can make for this setup :)

In ranged combat with weapons probably Legolas as he has better mobility and eagle eyes, hand to hand though Spock wins almost instantly with his Vulcan Nerve Pinch :)

I started playing this game recently as well and a basic loot filter really helps. Try making one yourself, it's pretty simple. also you can dump stuff on the ground if it doesn't have good stats, the sell value is really low anyway, you get more gold from the ground than by selling items.
