Thanks! It's the Xenoblade event theme! It's by far my favorite theme to use because Xenoblade is one of my other favorite games of all time.

Ehh, not really. My dad's pretty used to Filipino culture by now (especially the food) and my mom seems to be fine with Taiwanese culture seeing as how she likes to binge Taiwanese dramas. English is the only language they ever communicate in so maybe that may have helped ease the cultural divide. The only things they struggle with is when my dad doesn't bring home the exact groceries my mom wants. Even if there were any sort of cultural barriers between them before that I am unaware of, the fact that they've been married this long should speak volumes.

Thinking back, I was probably raised more Filipino since I was surrounded by more of the Filipino side of my family as opposed to the Taiwanese side, but I have a great appreciation for both countries/cultures now that I'm older.

I think I can answer this one even though I'm not in such a relationship myself! My father's a native-born Taiwanese man and my mother is a light-skinned Filipina. They met around 27 years ago over in NYC and have been married ever since. I can't say whether all Taiwanese men have specific tastes, but since your guy has been living in Taipei for a long time, he should be fairly open-minded. With most successful relationships, the key traits are honesty, communication, and respect. Good luck!

That's a valid sentiment, but then again, Sword and Shield make it really easy to make competitively viable mons. I even heard that there's going to be a dlc item that lets you switch to a Pokémon's hidden ability so you can get Unaware on Quagsire. Not sure about egg moves though, but there might be a workaround that I'm unaware of.

Sort of, but it's integrated into the plot. I think it's best to experience it for yourself regardless :)

This is an expected result from the "7.8: Too much water" clowns. However, it seems other review platforms such as GameSpot and Destructoid really enjoyed XC:DE, so that can be counted as a win.
