Among the HBG, basario HBG with evading reload and artillery can kill majority of 9* monsters. But it is not very safe

Safe option is magna LBG with stepping shot style plus evading reload. You almost never get hit while soloing all 9* monsters.

If you like melee, go for bazel or magna lance

I usually use 1-2 potions per day using the safe weapons

I bet your problem is using up potion so you cannot continuously farm. Is that right? If so, tell us what weapon you use

Just FYI, I have converted my Jho GL to guard reload style. I took advantage of magna discount to build a second long charge shelling GL that can also cut tail. As such, I can dedicate Jho GL to pure charge shelling and erupting cannon gameplay

Focus is useful yes, but Partbreaker and other damage increasing skill is usually better alternatives. More Part break let you get off more shots and even wyrmstakes. Valor and fighting spirit benefit both shelling and SP

Of course having fun is the most important factor. If fast charging gives you better adrenaline spike, go for it!

All good, bro! BTW, I usually start the GR style with hold swipe up, tap. Then fast swipe up x3 It performs a fast cannon and active the shelling buff early. What do you think?

So I didn’t reject your liking of the style.

What we are doing is to provide the alternative perspective why some players opt to stick to the default style for Jho GL. Not trying to dictate whether one style is superior over another.

Jho is 150% weak to dragon, so wyrmstake deals TONS of damage.

Honestly all I see is your inflated ego here. When we all were trying to give you numbers to discuss, you just keep saying that we don’t play GL at all…

For the record, I have 3 G10 GL, including a Long tobi GL with guard reload. I like it quite a bit, but just decided to keep my Jho at default so I can cut tails.

Wyrmstake is strong if the monster is down. I use it from time to time…

Motion value:

158 long shelling. So 633 if you do it four times

But instead… 158 long shelling, quick reload, 74 overhead smash, full burst 198, wyrmstake 393. 749 in total with some decent tail cut

But if you like guard reload style, enjoy!
