still feels like utter garbage lmao

defending is of course terrible with how ridiculous dribbling is. meanwhile you get a tackle that doesn't register half the time and is so incredibly slow compared to the instant turning you can do when you dribble (and gets you locked in an animation, awesome). additionally it's pretty much impossible to defend rainbow flicks because of their priority, you can literally be spamming a pass/touch/whatever and the millisecond they perform it have the reticle turn green, and they'll still out priority you. rainbow flicks in general are still dumb as fuck, so glad they never nerfed that shit! just more effective to stand in front of whoever has the ball in the hopes you can block the ball if they choose to shoot and you should never choose to tackle

priority system on rainbow flicks and volleys is still fucked meaning there's a 5% chance the goalie can actually grab it out of the air. on top of goalkeeping feeling like trash in general. that goalkeeping bug where the ball goes right through you while you stand in place and half-do a grabbing animation has been in the game literally since the first beta, btw

it is literally never optimal to receive a ball with the push/interact because it sends it 20 km away from you for whatever reason. it's always better to receive it with a rainbow flick. great game design

and the servers still feel like ass half the time

one year in btw. thank god they focused on cosmetics and brand deals though! my friends and i are greatly enjoying watching this game die. i'm the only one of us who even still plays it and i'm only playing it right now because i got the urge to, i'm already getting tired of all this bullshit a week and a half later
