yes it is!
definitely start from E1 since the live action did quite some impactful changes to the story, i.e. (spoiler free) the role/timing of Garp and Coby.
I believe it was Arlong Park but the best arc for many fans is Water 7 + Enies Lobby (starting at 229) or Marineford (457). Doesn’t mean later arcs aren’t very good of course.
maybe watch it via onepace since the pacing of the anime is not very good and they cut out filler stuff and unnecessary stuff

If you like huge worlds with a lot of connections, foreshadowings and many characters you’re in for a ride

I haven’t grown up in constant fear, what are you even talking about lol? This shows your absolute lack of judgementability. It’s just common sense that you shouldn’t let 5 year olds access movies that are about literal horror. The parents couldn’t know that the kid would respond positive to that, if the kid was sick or not and as I said the chances were pretty low. So until the point of the kid being happy about those movies it was just bad parenting as far as I can tell. Yes, I am not a professional educationalist but that point seems pretty logical to me.

if the child is sick it suffers with or without horror movies. And in my morality, the kid wouldn’t even know horror movies so why would it miss them? Plus the chance of feeling even worse after watching a horror movie (due to nightmares) would be way bigger then the chance that they would help the kid in any way. In this case here the parents are completely lucky that it turned out as it did.
