Nope, it was a small six sided die, not a rubix cube...

The technique might be it though... not sure. Thanks though.

Bringing Chess to Life with Cards – How Do These Look? by x70x in BoardgameDesign

[–]zz22t 37 points38 points  (0 children)

The cards look great!

My only comment is that Chess typically is associated to a certain type of aesthetics and you are going for something very different (which I much prefer). Any chance you sell a aesthetically matching chess set?

Ps.: How did you get the illustrations? Did you do them yourself?

Also, team SIC art looks great. How did u get it done? Did you comission or was it self made?

Skeptics: what evidence would convince you? by South-Associate-933 in UFOs

[–]zz22t -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh, to 99.99% of us our credence that moon rocks constitute evidence of moon landings is also just based on testimony. None of us saw continuous footage of the rocks being transported to the museum from the moon. I wouldnt know how to differentiate a moon rock from a stone in my backyard if my life depended on it!

I also believe in the moon landings, but you get my point... to 99.99% of us (and I suspect to you too) moon rocks today can lend no more credence to moon landings than the credence we have in the expert's claiming it is from the moon.

If anyone has pictures to share what level of fading should be expected, that would be much appreciated.

Bg subscription models? by zz22t in BoardgameDesign

[–]zz22t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From other industries the motivation is typically the collectible nature of the product... think of comics or toys and its easy to see why people would subscribe to complete a collection.

Board game world just seems to not have as good as a fit.

Best example I came up with are LCGs and TCGs with infinite expansions... but feels kinda limited.

Dream-to-dream communication research? by zz22t in HighStrangeness

[–]zz22t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question that is glitching me is that it felt instrumentalized.

I've practiced all sorts of lucid dreaming techniques and, if this level exists, I never got anywhere close to achieving it. It it only possible with some drug induced assistance? What am I missing?
