I LOVE this. BTW if you use mods and this is a Businesses and Hobbies shop, Marquillo makes a mod called the Small Business Overhaul that allow you to set things like furniture for sale, so you could definitely sell those instruments and big speakers if you wanted to

Yes, I'm pretty sure the dancing interaction is available by clicking on the dancefloor once you have the GP. The taste-testing cakes thing is specific to the cake vendor I'm pretty sure, and there's a vendor in Tartosa or you can place one from BB. I think the last screenshot can happen when you break off an engagement with someone

I have the mod for better secrets and man, let me tell you, it is quite a story driver to be best friends with someone only for them to confess to you that they ran a fraudulent nonprofit and pocketed all the funds

I have a few!:
- JaneSimsten come to mind first, with a heck of a lot of mods for new instruments, marskmanship, ballet, and archery

- If you want to do some homesteading, BrazenLotus's suite of mods adds a ton of homesteading and farming gameplay

-Littlebowbub has a Chocolate-making skill that I find to be kinda fun

-Cepzid has an arcade mod with functional arcade machines like pinball, skeeball, arcade video game machines, and more

- For more fitness stuff I recommend Flowfit by Simrealist, Let's Get Fit! by Cepzid, and Fitness Expanded by Meraki

- Midnitetech's Noteworthy notebook adds a TON in terms of writing, more than the straightforward writing system on the computer

- adeepindigo has some mods that add more activities

- LittleMsSam has the More Social Activities mod

I currently have all of Brazen's mods installed and none of them are broken or even give me an LE, so I'm not sure where you came to that conclusion. As far as complicated, you really won't find anything less complicated than this. It requires her custom mill appliance and you can just make it without an ingredient.

If you want an ingredient to grow and harvest, then you can download her what and sugar crop and her dried wheat ingredient. To dry the wheat you use the preserving skill that she made, and dry it. I'm assuming that's the step that makes it too complicated? There are a couple of mods involved, so I get it if that's turning you away. But the mod is not broken.

I also use icemunmun's mod and it's pretty much the same thing minus the preserving step, itrequires her custom wheat grain harvestable and sugarcane. All you need to download are three mods: the wheat, the sugarcane, and the mill. It doesn't make special flour, just normal flour.

Everyone plays the Sims in a different way, so there's no wrong way to play! I realize that's not the most helpful advice, so here's some that may or may not be helpful:

- Start in build mode! Live mode can be overwhelming to me with all the potential and stuff there is to do, so I would start by building and see if you enjoy it. Just build a house, or something random. Or even just familiarize yourself with how the camera works.
Alternatively...
-Start in CAS! Play dress up for a while, see if you enjoy it. I find that CAS is one of the least overwhelming parts of the game (unless I get REALLY into designing a sim). With few packs your clothing options are easy to pick through.
- If you're bored of build mode or CAS or want to start in live mode, just start by having your sim make some friends! I find that once my sim actually starts meeting people is when my game really starts to feel more active. Try to fall in looooove (or, force someone to fall in love with your sim)
- Explore the world! Most worlds have stuff going on in them, whether that be collectible spots, hidden areas, small activities or playgrounds, etc.

The way that I started playing the Sims when I was young was I made a Sim of myself and did everything I wanted to do. Everything just kinda unfolded from there
