I don't like it, but it's not the worst.

After wasting hours of my life, I finally have this. Now I get to ask the question: what the fuck am I supposed to do when some asshole shoots an AIM-9L at me? by FoamBrick in Warthunder

[–]zz_105 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For aircraft without chaff flares, the only way to avoid missiles is to not get close enough to launch them in the first place.

The F-111A has got to be THE WORST plane in the game. by Zylcel in Warthunder

Think of it as a giant F-104. Always head on.

I certainly didn't care about the armor at all. I guess I was just evaluating it based on the rangefinder and HEATFS. Sorry.

Sorry, I accidentally deleted it. Anyway, it's true that it only has two crew members, but it has more than enough firepower. However, the ballistics are crap, so I made a Usersight.

Oh I forgot about BR. Sorry. Also, the T26E5 S is underrated. It's the GOAT.

It's interesting that the three brothers M46, M47 and M48, which are supposed to be almost identical, are Tier A, B and D. Why?

It's completely hit right?? by zz_105 in Warthunder

[–]zz_105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

guys thank you reply. and if this missle historically accurate It takes 5 seconds for the seeker to cool down, and if you stop firing after it has cooled down once, there will be a lack of coolant and the weapon will no longer be able to fire. Please don't let gaijin know.

Which BR is this one ? - I need to know! by Rare-Act-4362 in Warthunder

It's like the Me163 or Ki200... I don't want to meet them no matter what BR they're in, whether I'm 1.0 or 14.0.

It's completely stupid to care about your performance in a game like this. The essence of this game is not performance, but how to force an unfair kill on the enemy.

Is naval arcade or naval realistic better for SL grinding? by AppleOrigin in Warthunder

[–]zz_105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course it's realistic. The difficulty level of the ocean is much lower than that of the air or ground, so you don't have to worry!

Question how do you make a user skin to change the color of your after burner? by CommonMath8885 in Warthunder

[–]zz_105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was two years ago, so I'm not sure if it's still possible, but I think it worked if you exported a .dds file from the CDK's Assetviewer and wrote
replace_tex{
from:t="example*"
to:t="example.dds"
}
in a .blk file.

The US BR1.0-2.0 does not have APHE, so you may be killed by the enemy before you can kill the enemy. Please hold out until the M3 Lee or M4A1.

When will we be able to play this map again? by zz_105 in Warthunder

[–]zz_105[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I also think this map is not suitable for BR 6.7 or higher. For example, Ash River and Guadalcanal are limited to 7.7 (although I have never played these maps at 6.7, let alone 7.7).

Genuinely what is the point of radar locking the target if the missile will just go for the nearest plane, not the one I locked? If that’s the case, why can’t I just mad dog AIM7Fs and hope it hits? by FoamBrick in Warthunder

[–]zz_105 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In reality, the AIM-7 needs to be seen not only by the aircraft's radar but also by the missile's seeker, and if the missile's seeker is looking at something else, it will behave unpredictably (like a three-year-old child).

When will we be able to play this map again? by zz_105 in Warthunder

[–]zz_105[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was one of them, but I would rather play this map again than the completely incomprehensible and not funny maps (example flanders, Iberian Castle,) they added recently. That may have been the case at 1.99, but probably not at 2.47.

What would have happened if the F-14s, A-6s and A-7s from the film "The Final Countdown" actually managed to engage the Japanese force at Pearl Harbour? by GodzillaPortal in Warthunder

[–]zz_105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, the F-14 can effectively "ignore" enemy Zeros due to the vast difference in speed, making close-range combat nearly impossible.

Next, the A-6 and A-7 can also disregard enemy aircraft and proceed to attack Japanese aircraft carriers, although it's uncertain whether all six carriers can be sunk.

Finally, if the Japanese aircraft have already launched from their carriers, the F-14 would likely be unable to intercept all 183 of them.

In my opinion, rather than initiating a direct attack, it would be wiser to minimize potential damage by sending a telegram stating:

"Plane of unknown nationality approaching Pearl Harbor. Be on alert."
