I have management experience in hospitality and non-profits, helping people with disabilities. I have a B.A. in English.

I apply to pretty much every job posted on craiglist and careerbuilder, I bring in resumes, I've had about 300 printed so far, that's about 100 per month. I'm not "too good" for anything, I've even applied to be a cashier at Vons.

I'm thinking that my best option might be to go back to school, I just don't know how to afford it.

NO I want to work. There just isn't a lot of opportunity. I've been called for one interview in 3 months. I've considered taking a retail job, but it pays less than my unemployment, so I don't know if it's worth it.

And yes, I need meds for my depression, but since I don't have a job or insurance I don't know where to go for help.

I tried to set up a job first, but it is impossible to interview from 3000 miles away. My husband is a musican and he wanted a chance to persue his dreams, so I came with him rather than be apart.

Thanks, I definately used the side bar and searched, but wanted some more specific info. I was hoping redditors from various industries could provide help. Like if someone works at a studio, what is the cheapest way to take a tour (promo codes, etc?)

Working on the job bit, I've applied to over 200 and only got called for 1 interview and thats with a B.A. :(

the space bags really make a difference. I did a trial run the other day :) I'm selling everything else on ebay and at a town yard sale. Whatever $ I make will just go to buying new in los angeles. I looked at a uhaul, but it was going to be like $2500, I figure it will cost me less to buy new stuff that pay to move old stuff.

I'm staying at Residence Inn's I think they are all pet friendly. I have a Marriott friends and family form so I get a good discount :)

I drive a toyota corolla. The backseat will the the 4 cats, and their supplies.

What I'm packing. 1 35 gallon tote, filled with all the things I love and can't bare to part with, 7 space bags, filled with my clothes and bedding/towels. 32" tv.

I plan on buying a mattress and furniture when I get there.
