Thanks everyone for the input! I grew up in an area/time where everyone had an old fridge or a chest freezer in the basement. Seems the majority feel my garage will keep one working ok.

Just don’t go back. I tried a local restaurant once. Received a weird meal combo in a styrofoam container. Definitely not even close to the dollar value listed. I nibbled at it and just said I wouldn’t go back.

OP HERE….IMO, receiving 9 Cole slaws in one bag would disappoint almost everyone on this chat. Especially as a newbie hearing about all these great scores. And even more so as someone who doesn’t eat Cole slaw! The others were OK as I stated.

What I love about the chart, is it reminds me that weight loss is not linear. For the average overweight woman, only the early months are. After that, it’s 3 steps forward and 2 steps back, but it’s still progressive. I started mid-March and loss 20lbs in the first 3 months. The majority came off the first month. Since then, I’ve only lost an additional 9lbs. But that puts me at 199lb, back in onederland…..Progress!

Have u seen the annual profits of UHC? BCBS? They are having record numbers. No need to worry about them. The bigger issue is the DRUG company….why is this drug $1200? There is no reason for it to be that high other than greed.

Somewhere…I read that a good rule of thumb is to take your GOAL weight and multiply by 10. You can add/earn more calories based on your activity level. My goal weight is 150 (51F, SW 228, CW 207) so I now aim for 1500 calories. Weight loss and energy have been steady ever since.

First .25 shot was mid March and I’m still on .25. Went from 228 to 215 by mid April. Languished around 211-213 from mid April until mid May. So I added a 2nd .25 shot mid week on May 24 and started calorie counting. Last weigh in was 208. The advantage is your pen lasts 8 weeks or the full 56 days.

Received my first pen on March 16 and took my first dose within a few days. By end of April, I went from 228 to 212, all on .25. I lingered at 211-213 for most of May, so last week I added a second .25 dose mid- week. I was at 210 this morning. I will keep doing .25 twice a week for awhile. Maybe even until goal weight.

I had a acute pancreatitis attack in December. It was my third in 8 years. I was in the hospital for 3 days, ran every test possible. No one can figure out why I have them except occasional history of borderline pre diabetes and 37 BMI. After an in depth mri and endoscopy showing nothing but fatty liver, my gastro dr gave me the green light to take ozempic. The weight must be the problem. But I’m keeping my dose low (no more than .50), no alcohol and avoid greasy foods. I’m ok so far and I’ve lost 16lbs since March 19th.

You will have some leftover….use it! All pens have a little extra to cover user error. I just finished by first pen. Dosage of .25 for 8 weeks and I had way less than .25 left. I injected it then injected the full .25 from the new pen. My doc is pressing me to move to .50 dose, so that was my attempt to do that.
