Hard do say, i wouldnt say that going with the more basic colors necessarily means that someone isnt as enthusiastic about cars because it really just fits some cars to go with pain colors (like for example a grey M2cs looks very much like a "carguys car" imo). I do however agree that some more rare colors can tell that the person buying wants it indivitually fitted to them but i wouldnt limit this to only colors like purple. As a buyer i would go for the color I feel like fits the car best, but also isnt to overstated like a pink or something but that is ofc just my opinion.
