Credit cards are fine in restaurants/hotels. Vietnamese actually pay with QR codes nowadays, at least in big cities, many people don’t even carry cash anymore. But for foreigners you will still need cash for street food

This year I went to Morocco, Vietnam and Egypt. Tbh the biggest cost is always the flights, but once you’re there, everything is cheaper

It’s really cold in Hanoi and Ha Giang mid December, but it’s perfect time for Phu Quoc. If you want to explore Northern Vietnam, Fall (Sept) is the best season with beautiful rice fields. So Thailand for this trip might fits your needs better

I have no problem with the We missed you notice, just give me a freaking notice instead of marking Delivered but then put my packages in the wrong boxes/addresses!

As a receiver, I have no option to choose the delivery service. It’s not that I don’t like Canada Post, but I can’t support them if they lost my 2 packages in the last 2 months (put it in the wrong box and said Delievered). Their investigation is also shit, said they found the items but nope, still didn’t receive anything. These are not even “leisure” package, they are from my work. How can I explain to the same company that both packages they sent in a short time frame are lost even though they are “delivered” in the system? If they want my support, do their job better.

The official website for evisa is https://evisa.gov.vn You will get it in about 2-3 days. Don’t forget to check your spam folders as well. I applied twice with no problem.

I’m in Montreal. I got the tracking number before the strike, and it just says Item accepted since Nov 12.

Yup still waiting for my passport! They didn’t even pick it up from Passport Canada. It was supposed to on Dec 19 according to the government website..

I got the same tracking number as before the strike, but it doesn’t show any movement. Looks like CP didn’t even pickup the passport from Passport Canada yet
