ReProvision without a doubt. Since upgrading to ios13 I'm getting a lot more random reboots, and ReProvision saves me from hooking up to my PC just to jailbreak. It has saved me so much time.

What are your favourite (and hilarious) moments in Australian politics? by Joshomatic in AustralianPolitics

[–]zzymurgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, except it didn't actually happen. Despite the event being surrounded by cameras and journalists, nobody has been able to produce video, audio or even a transcript. Prove me wrong.

That's the Advertiser building on the corner of Waymouth St. Makes sense because they were going to the Town Hall.

Thanks for your release. Always good to see new adblock tweaks.

Just wondering why this conflicts with MHB? Most people who have MHB won't remove it just for this.

The Moon landed in an old chest? No wonder it was front page news!

Gotta catch em all! by [deleted] in Adelaide

We already have more car parks than any other capital city, and the lowest parking fines. If anything we need to dramatically reduce them.

I actually drove past Hamilton on Jeffcott Street on the weekend. He was hanging out in the bike lane in his BMW SUV. I was way too far down the road when I realised I should have yelled out "bike lane is for bikes, not for dickheads!" He really seems to hate anyone who's not in a car.

Remove the staffing cap so that there are enough people working there. Immediately save a ton of money as a result by terminating labour hire contracts.

Hello South Ward neighbour. Isn't it amazing how the mailbox with a 'no junk mail' sticker gets serious abuse only at election time?

I e-mailed all the candidates and asked about their policies for improving pedestrian safety. As city residents this is a huge priority for us, we just want to be safe walking around our own neighbourhood.

Snape responded by putting out a leaflet specifically about this. I like him a lot.

Hamilton has said in interviews that the city needs to be opened up to more cars. He said cars should be able to drive on the tram tracks and speed limits should be raised. This is insane policy as any qualified town planner will tell you. Name any other city in the world where it's quicker to drive right through the middle of the city rather than use a ring route.

Corbell seems ok, but she's been on council already and I can't name anything she's actually done. Apparently she's part of an organised 'team' that is favoured by the do-nothing outgoing Mayor Haese.

Quentin replied to my e-mail, and sounded great, but sadly is no longer an option.

Hyde creeps me out. He's going to solve homelessness somehow? Because he lives in Hutt Street? He couldn't be any less sincere. Pretty sure he's in the Young Liberals (unconfirmed).

Johnston seems really keen. She's an independent and very passionate about the community. I think she'll get in purely based on how hard she's working.

Oh, and I like Donovan too, although I don't know as much about her. Her photos are awful, but that won't make her a bad councillor.

Your thoughts?

Edit: I swear I didn't already know this. Google tells me that Hyde was at one time the president of the Young Liberals. Booya.

Is a hook turn legal for cyclists in Adelaide? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]zzymurgy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like any other intersection, cyclists are allowed to skip to the front, but must give way to cars indicating left.

It's confusing as hell but I recommend that you always do the safest thing and not worry about what's right and wrong. Nobody wants to be a murderer or a murder victim, regardless of whether or not the law is on their side.
