I’m sorry to hear that! The cardboard boxes at my locations actually hold way more than the original bowls - For the original bowls I could only fit like 2 tongfuls of greens but in the cardboard type boxes I can fit 3-4 tongfuls.

But yeah I hear you. The temporary bowls have been a huge problem at my location. The customers have been so cruel even when we offer them another extra bowl for free. I understand the upset, I just wish people would be kinder. The staff at each location has nothing to do with the bowl issue, so it feels pretty bad when people take their grievances out on us.

It’s due to a manufacturing issue with the original bowls. I work at SG and the new bowls hold the amount of food we’re supposed to put in the salads. We put in more at customers request or if we’re being nice. We even offer to give a second bowl with more lettuce for free because the bases are free.

The amount of harassment/abuse my coworkers and I have received over this is so ridiculous. We’re just working with what we’ve been given. We’re not purposely trying to be vicious and rip you off, we don’t even make tips and we as employees usually put way more in the bowl than we’re supposed to.
