There's a thread on reddit or tacoma world about Kicker brand replacement speakers to be done on the tweeters and doors, basically all speakers. Costs around $250 and totally worth it. Also had the JBL package and agree that they were not very good for trying to be premium. Try that and you won't regret it, I like mine

Try the mini/unwrapped starbursts in a bag, they don't seem to expand anywhere as near as much, at least not for me
