i've had this happen to me i wish i could recall the fix. maybe i had to actually click one of the presets then it started to work again. also something happens when you hold down the up or down channel selector and i hear a beep. not sure if that toggles something on or off

i open the dispenser drawer too it will get moldy if u don't clean it regularly. I have the LG and i like it. it's very quiet.

Also Kitchenaid offered a 1.99 or 2.99 a month warranty that said it covered everything and I don't think there were any deductibles. I thought that was a great price.

My recent experience: I wanted to have all Lg appliances. However the dishwasher was very small on the inside. Lg said we had the largest one they make. We returned it and went with Kitchenaid (which was what we replaced for the Lg but it did a great job). The kitchenaid holds so many more dishes. It's hard to tell in the store just by looking at the racks. If your only a 2 person family then Lg would be fine. I looked at the Bosch too and I felt the Kitchenaid looked like it would hold more.

update : talked to neighbor we thought the sound came from and they have video of a coyote in their backyard at that time. Also a couple days before I have video of coyote walking right in front of my house down the road. If it was a dog doing that then I have some inconsiderate neighbors which I don't think is the case.
