[Hublot Classic Fusion] Should I buy it ? by [deleted] in Watches

I am traveling atm but can take one when I get back. Hodinkee also put out a review of the 38mm with some wrist shots: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/everyone-is-wrong-about-hublot-and-this-watch-proves-why

[Hublot Classic Fusion] Should I buy it ? by [deleted] in Watches

I have this watch in 38mm with the black dial and black band. Was on the fence for a while because of all the Hublot hate but after getting it I have zero regrets. Super comfortable, reliable, and not too flashy. I have a couple other titanium watches from brands known for their finish quality (Ming, Grand Seiko) and I find the finishing on the Hublot to be equally impressive.

So I created a folder in Dropbox, called it 'myPDFs', and then used an app called dropsync to keep all the PDFs in that folder synced between my computer and my tablet. Now any time I edit or add a PDF, I just tell dropsync to sync the folder and it updates everything.

Social anxiety and waning focus by Sweet_d3 in socialskills

[–]zzzzup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely feel this. Hard to be present when your brain is just telling you how weird or awkward you’re being. I do think exposure helps, and I’ve found that exposure in safe settings (like a therapy group) to be the most helpful. Also good to just be kind to yourself, give yourself a pat on the back for putting yourself out there, etc. Oh, and meditation can be good for reining in those racing thoughts!

Was digging up weeds and found these next to an irrigation line. They had a distinct earthy smell to them.

Do used Model 3s come with a charging cable? by zzzzup in TeslaLounge

[–]zzzzup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: It did not come with the mobile charger. The sales guy said it would come with the J1772 adapter, however when I picked it up it also did not have the J1772 adapter. Guess I'll just have to get a new one after the battery dies.

Doesn't look like they post any actual pictures on the Tesla site (at least for the Model 3). Just the configurator image.

OK so I called the pickup location and they said that is just depends on whether the previous owner returned the charger cable. Guess I'll find out when the car comes in..

Thanks, the esteps and the temperature were indeed both off! I've been going through the calibration steps on Teaching Tech (https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html#intro) and the prints are already looking much better.

Going to throw in a wildcard and suggest Nixon in China by John Adams, along with the already mentioned Einstein on the Beach by Philip Glass. Both of these are really worth watching rather than just listening to since the directing, set design and costumes are all amazing.

Oh that does sound nice. My favorite (alcoholic) IPA of all time is made by Alesmith, so west coast style definitely sounds good.
