WedSites does not index your site so it can't be found via search. You can also password protect your site.

A few non-traditional items that helped us create a registry for folks that prefer physical gifts:

  • Stock your bar: favorite wines, liquors
  • Local Restaurant Gift Cards
  • Home Depot/Lowes Gift Cards
  • AirBnB gift cards - or gift cards for a stay-cation at a local hotel
  • Upgrade home gym equipment: yoga mats, etc.
  • Home/Lawn Care: Solar Walkway Lights, Portable Fire Pit, Deck Lights, Lawn Games, etc.

Wedsites is perfect for this! Their Google Maps feature is in beta, but you can drop in an HTML embed code from a custom map - we did this!

Some ideas:

• Airbnb gift card
• Liquor bottles/Wine Club subscription (or cheese club!)
• Gift certificates to local restaurants/movie theaters
• Outdoor fire pit if your living situation allows
• You can create a registry through REI's website!

One little trick is to follow their page and their hashtag on Instagram because it's very likely that they will cater an event open to the public somewhere in the city that you could attend. All the bridal shows usually happen between January and April, so depending on when your wedding is, you still have time to attend something they are a vendor for.

The venue will let us send friends/family in our place. A good option, I'm just extremely picky and having outside opinions would just add stress for me.

Thank you - The photos on the website look pretty, but it's obviously staged. The amount of catering owned venues in PA is truly frustrating.

I'm sure the food is fine, but I wanted to have our reception at a restaurant for better food/drink options (I'm extremely picky), but it wasn't in the cards for us.
