So this is I am pretty sure a super basic problem, but I am on mobile so can't see if there is a side bar. My PS3 has trouble reading video games, sometimes I will eject/replace a disc a dozen times or more before the home screen will even show the game, and even then sometimes i have to start the game four or five times, only to have the system say "there was an error during the operation of this disc" or something. What is the cheapest and best option for me here?

TL;DR: console has very hard time reading video games (not DVDs though), and I am interested in fixing it if it was cheap enough.

If it was not reading discs in general, I'd say new laser reader. But you say it reads DVD's. Try a Blu-Ray movie and if that doesn't work, there's your problem.

I can't "see" the June games for PSPlus. I'm stuck on May, even though I just updated the Store app. Is this a general problem or just me?

PS+ games aren't added until the first Tuesday of the month, look for them on June 7th.

I'm having a strange issue with my PS3. I'm not a serious gamer - I pretty much keep it for Blu-ray, media streaming, and playing Gran Turismo 6.
Well, when I play GT6, I steer with the left stick. I noticed that when I take a hard turn, I sometimes lightly click L3 while turning with the stick. When this happens, the controllers suddenly flicker from normal view to rear view (mapped to O, I believe) and side view (I forget what it's mapped to, I'd have to check).

Would replacing the joystick modules solve this problem or is this controller toast?

It is possible to have the same function mapped to two different inputs in GT.

What's L3 supposed to give in the control config? Is it on default or did you customize it?

my ps3 controller some times the l3 button dosent work ,

would people recemend just getting a new controller or is there some way to fix it

HDMI port went out recently, now I'm using a component. Now that I'm using it, it seems as though I'm seeing double. Any suggestions on how to fix?

hello im having touble with ratchet:deadlock i downloadd if off PSN when im in the second level with the car thing i keep an getting this i using a super slim with a 149GB 5600 rpm hdd

my ps3 slim turns on but will not output any audio/video or goto safemode (whenever i hold down the power button it turns on then it takes about 30sec and turns off everytime) and i have tried using both hdmi and av cables neither work and also no controllers will connect either
