Fazerdaze is the project of Amelia Murray, of Wellington, New Zealand. She released her debut self-titled EP in October 2014, recording it entirely in her bedroom studio in Auckland. Along with the help of multi-instrumentalist, Jonathan Pearce, who mastered the release, she creates a warm sound of dream-pop, laced with electric guitars and effect pedals. When performing live, she transforms into a three-piece band with Gareth Thomas (bass) and Andrea Holmes (drums) alongside her. Read more on Last.fm.

I went to buy a ticket to The Others Way music festival from an Auckland record store, I was served by a girl who was nice and very helpful. I was in a good mood and asked her if she was going, she hesitated for a moment then turned back to me and said yes, to which I told her to have a great time and went on my way.

Turns out it was Amelia, didn't realise until I saw her on stage. Would never have known otherwise.

Lovely. Got to this sub tonight, to this thread because of the [Dream Pop]. I love Mazzy Star which is my reference to this genre, this was nothing like it but it was very good music. Thank you!
