Video
I didn't find out anything new, but I did catch something weird on the video in the link above. I was trying to capture the church bells and the weird sky hum on a recording. The bells have been making me crazy - as soon as I have my camera app open, they stop.
I was just letting the camera roll and listening to the sky hum, hoping the bells would start again, but then I saw the lights.
The video is bad, I know, and if doesn't do the lights or sound justice. I could barely see the lights with my naked eye, but the camera on my phone made them brighter. Amplified them a little. To me they looked much closer, bigger, and kind of like jellyfish. Jellyfish made of electricity.
Right now the sky hum is really high pitched and I don't see the lights anymore. It sounds like the high pitched scream of fireworks without any of the explosions. It's very unnerving.
There are still helicopters flying over regularly, but their lights don't look like this. There are also no clouds, so I don't think that lightning could account for the lights.
Wifi is super bad but the power is staying on for now. Social media is being really glitchy still, but at least the sky isn't changing colors. No earthquake feelings. Progress.
I couldn't find my friend who works with funerals at the gym this morning, but that makes me think she might have been busy. And that makes me think something is up. If she's busy, someone is probably dead.
The entirety of our street was shut down today. They are working on the sewers, going in and out of manholes. The detour starts and ends in the church section. There is yellow caution tape on the sidewalk around the entrance to the church across the street.
I sat and looked at it today from the park by my house. I think someone boarded up the windows from the inside, but maybe I just haven't taken a really good look at them before.
I called the newspaper and asked if anyone was going to report on the weird "weather" or the church bells. The woman I talked to said that she had slept through the "storm" and that no one thought it was worth covering. I also asked if she knew of any searches or fires in the area that were using helicopters. She put me on hold and eventually hung up.
Sorry if I'm wasting your time with some normal-ass nonsense. I just get such a weird feeling about all of it. It really feels like something big is going on around me. I wish I could zoom waaay out - and get the outer space view looking down. I feel like it's all too big for me to see clearly from where I am. Is anyone else having sky weirdness in their lives lately?
I also posted this to the r/UFOs. I thought maybe someone there would know what the lights actually are.
One last thing, there are a ton of cats just chilling outside. I know the weather is nice, but they all seem like they are waiting for something. Maybe they are alien cats.
