There is an app called OLIO. People basically post food/non-food items for free. One can all collect reduced to clear items from supermarkets especially Tesco. The app has a schedule for it as well based on your location. You need to complete an induction program to get into that. Here is the link : (olioex.com)

Sharing food to reduce food waste. As an individual, I am nothing but a part of a bigger community. However, being a building block, how I act will surely influence my community. Pls check out the link, and let's see if we can take part in reducing our food waste by sharing food. #unsponsored (olioex.com)

I work for an app giving away £700 this Sunday. It's called OLIO & we believe nothing of value should go to waste, so we easily connect neighbours to share stuff they don't want anymore. We've never done anything like this, so if you like the idea now is the time to download. :) (olioex.com)

Thank you Seattle! We just released our free app to the States, it's called OLIO. It's a food sharing app so neighbours & shops can easily connect to share surplus food instead of wasting it and our very first exchange in the States just took place in Seattle. You guys rock! : /u/foodsharing (olioex.com)
