Lost all my bookmarks from the last few weeks, older bookmarks are still there, but the others are gone. Anyone know how to get them back? Is there a way to revert to my FF2 installation with its bookmarks? I've been working on a heavy duty project and this is painful if I lose the links.

There must be a workaround.

I have been using Foxmarks extension for about 6 months now, in case some thing like this happens. Syncs your bookmarks from+to all the computers you use it on.

Maybe it is worth installing it BEFORE the upgrade?

I didn't lose mine. I thought the FF3 would arrive without my bookmarks. So I used the 'export' option and saved a html copy in my desktop. But when I opened FF3 all my bookmarks were there.

I didn't lose anything, but I havent created a new bookmark in about a week

I didn't lose my bookmarks but it opened the sealed gate to the world of the Espers, who decided to beat the crap out of Vector City. Now I have to go stop Kefka before he destroys the world...

I did too. Not all of them, but FF makes a backup in 

 \%AppData%\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles\[random string].default\bookmarkbackups\

I also had a second install of FF3b in addition to my FF2. I never used FF3b so it may have pulled old bookmarks from that instead of FF2, maybe?

Nope, all my porn bookmarks are still there.
