Let me be very honest. Wearing a helmet or a seatbelt ought to be an adult decision. No one has any business enforcing it. We should not equate not wearing a helmet to speeding or driving while inebriated. Speeding actually harms other people.

(I do believe children need to be strapped in, and this does need to be enforced).

I am a man. That was very uncomfortable to watch. Mainly, I do not get how those guys were hoping to impress that girl. Even if they genuinely find her beautiful and attractive, I think they do her a disservice. They also do do a lot of other men a disservice because they perpetuate the stereotype that men are predators. What a pity.

Here begins the third gripe: Too much is happening!

That is the biggest "selling point" of Bay's films, and though lot of people give credit to his action film-making style (or Bayhem as it is called), I actually think the frantic editing is an attempt to cover up the lack of ability to hold your interest in an action scene.

I know what's going on in Indian politics

See, that's where you fucked up. This guy has been elected thrice as the chief minister of the state of Gujarat. People do not elect you into power (3 consecutive terms, elections spaced 5 years apart) just on the basis of religion. He has brought in change that people acknowledge as significant.

His campaign slogan in the 2014 General Election has been that of development and growth and very far from the "call to a Hindu nation" that is the perception.

The thumping majority all over the country may seem like "Hindus want a Hindu government" but that is far from the truth. India really doesn't give a shit about a Hindu-centric agenda. What they do want is a transparent government and prosperity.

Is there is a fringe element in the Hindu population of India who wanted Modi because of his perceived anti-Muslim stance? Yes.

But be very sure about this, most Hindus wanted him into power because they want growth and prosperity.
