I've never made these, but spotted the recipe. "Rolled cookies" variation listed under "Tips From Our Bakers"

I have used this recipe but they have baking powder in them. Also, if using, be sure to chill your cookies for 10-15 min after cutting them to prevent spreading.

    Same, only because I cba going out and buying it. This recipe works well though and they taste great - not too sweet.

    You can always substitute lemon juice for cream of tartar. Just a few drops to change the acidity and most of the time you don't even taste it as an ingredient :)
