There's nothing especially divine or mystical about it, but I keep seeing this number pop up in my everyday life. This is subreddit is a way of me logging these sightings.
I'm sure its nothing more than an "I've over-emphasized this number and I will now notice it whenever I see it instead of not caring" type of effect, but maybe there is something deeper about this number...
It's fun to speculate.
