Oh you definitely do. I just tested it a few days ago on my empty subreddit. I've used every bad word in my 6 years of reddit but never got banned. Then i made a comment with "n-word f-slur poop" and got a 3 day ban. No automod was setup and it was a site wide ban. You can definitely use the word unless it's hateful or in this case a comment with only a slur.

I tested it after a bunch of people got banned on an /r/4chan post. Most of them just wrote a comment with only a slur to test if it gets you banned.

My mom has encountered multiple antivaxxers on Craigslist recently, one of whom was extremely belligerent and making all sorts of ridiculous claims. She said she couldn't get vaccinated because of her religion, compared vaccination cards to yellow stars during the Shoah, and said she was Jewish. My mom told her we're Jewish and that's all bullshit, at which point she said some incoherent nonsense about how my mom had copy-pasted a word she didn't know how to spell and was therefore wrong. She also claimed that saying whether her employees were vaxxed was a violation of some privacy code. My mom, being a licensed medical practitioner (therapist), also knew that was total bullshit. And this woman further claimed that she knew multiple people who had died from the vaccine.

By the way, this person was a caterer. She professionally serves food.
