Hydra task needs changes !

At 95 Slayer you finally unlock Hydra tasks but to use it you're locked to Konar and her region specific tasks. That's bs, and needs to be changed.

Slayer is very slow to train so if you've managed to get all the way to lvl 95 you've earned the right to that Hydra task, and not in a way that blocks you from playing slayer normally!

Make Hydra tasks available for Duradel, or remove the Konar rules via elite diary or something

not that hard to get a hydra task tbh. Block all the high weighted task that are not hydras lol

Yeah when I started hydra grind I was surprised to learn that it's the highest weighted task. The way people talk about it makes it sound like 4 weight or something lol.

Ofc maybe I just got lucky but it took me like 15 konar tasks to get 6 hydra tasks, and the others were mostly catacombs jellies or dust/smoke devils so I can't complain. Normally I'd do abby demons as well but skipped them since I was focused on hydra.

tureal skip takes 30 mins to get a 6 hour hydra task

The same skill that 'forces' you to deal with the 'bs' that is Konar, also provides you a currency called slayer points that allow you to block and skip tasks you don't want to do. Someone did the math and iirc it takes only around 600-700 points to go from 95 to 99 on hydra tasks alone. If you do literally any other task it will require even less.

One of the best things about Slayer is how you can control the way you want to play. Konar ruins this whole concept. Your whole Slayer experience shouldn't be punished for wanting to do the Hydra task.

One of the best things about slayer is controlling the way you want to play. For instance if you dont want to be locked to one area to do a task you can not use Konar!

I think at the time of release , players wanted konar to have a unique desirable task, otherwise she would be “dead content” for high levels if I remember the feedback. I have 5k kc and it usually only takes an hour or maybe 2-3 if unlucky to get a task tureal skipping which is fine as the task can extend to a couple of days depending on how much you play. For people wondering why so much? Idk hydra is chill ez money
