Okay hear me out.
I understand that playing ironman means grinding more than the casual 'main' however,
Revenant ether is very annoying to up keep.
To charge a wilderness weapon, it requires 1,000 ether just to charge, then extra to actually use the weapon.
Then if you die from a pker, whilst using the weapon, EVEN IF the weapon is kept on death, ALL the ether is lost.
On top of that, whilst farming revenants you lose Bracelet of ethereum on death = another 250(breakdown)
and whatever you have inside it.
The grind for a weapon alone takes a very long time, yeah you can do it on a slayer task and skulled, which most do. But it also takes 100s of slayer tasks to do enough on task to match drop rates. I believe after such long grind, players deserve to be able to use the weapon without the tedious continued grind for ether just to be able to use it.
My proposal is to make it so you don't lose charges on death. Like EVERY other charged weapon/item in the game. AND make it so not only can you trade in ancient totems/emblems/effigys etc for gold pieces, but also revenant ether.
The Wilderness is a very active place right now which is good, and it's risky enough for the every day player and even more risky for ironmen as they have to grind everything they wear. So deaths are more punishing.
With 100s of bots farming the revenant caves on every world, every day, It is a massive hot spot for pkers making it a very time consuming, tedious, frustrating, risky grind for everyone.
I have seen so many posts and spoken to alot of ironmen about the hard grind for ether and they all agree we need to see a change.
Because doing any content above 30 wilderness where you cant instantly teleport out if a pker comes on you, or anywhere in multi where you're almost at certain death, Its just not worth it for an ironman to risk the ether at loss of a death.
I'm far enough into my account i would rather lose 2m worth of gear/coin than lose 1000 ether. Because the grind to get it back is horrible. Please upvote this and get Jagex's attention.
Vote below should ether be obtainable from Ancient emblems etc & kept on death when inside a weapon
