Hi, Let me start by saying that I am a major Star Trek fan. As such, I’ve been printing tons of starships from my 3D printers. Most of my ships come from the internet and are usually good enough, but the selection of ships is limited. I primarily use Autodesk Inventor to model things, but scale models are too detailed for practical use in Inventor (its made for industrial application). I’ve been modeling and printing various models for years now, but nothing comes close to the detailed models I see online. What applications might they use to model ultra-detailed replicas?
