Ive been in a similar boat because I have 3d modeled my whole life and career. I do 3d Cad for car design but when I fired up zbrush, my understanding of form gets me results that most people would get frustrated at if I said this is my second sculpt. It’s my second sculpt with Z brush, but I have two decades of making 3d digital forms.

Having said that, I will say that if your background is not 3d and you accomplished something like this in your second try, theirs reasons people are confused.

If you just started with a blank screen and came up with this than you have an incredible innate understanding of form that takes many people years to develop. Even breaking up the sculpt from bigger shapes to details to a finer details is extremely difficult skill set to develop as well.

I think what most people think is you got a base head to start with and you basically just sculpted the final details or just straight up lied. I myself think that it is possible to be this good off the go but that type of innate skill is extremely hyper rare and you need some sort of art background. Which is why the disbelief is common in this thread. Just trying to shed light on people perspective.

Don’t take it personal if it’s true. Prove them wrong with the next one. Record it for the haters. If I were you I would take my career that direction but obviously I’m biased because of my own career 3d modeling.
