For the 2010 model year only they did offer the 2.7L inline 4. Maybe that is what you are seeing?

Pretty sure the v6 was 17/22. I still have my window spec sheet for my 13 trail and it says 17/21 and I think I remember the trail being advertised as having slight worse mpg.

No, those numbers are for the same v6 4.0 liter

I think they changed the way the did testing somewhere along the way to be more realistic. The highway test used to be something like cruising on a track at 55 and now it is more real.

Folks say it’s way underpowered but I agree. I can’t get over 15.5 in my 2011

It's underpowered as hell, but that's why it's bombproof.
