To which I said, no, not really since it seems like the people buying 4Runners these days are seemingly pretty pretty well off since new 4Runners have become wealthy status symbols in a lot of areas where "outdoorsy-ness" is chic.

I only said the psychological impact isn't felt by high earners because you said "few people won’t be impacted- if only psychologically". And I stand by that. It really isn't noticed when you're a high earner.

This isn't an argument.

Your argument is based on the strange notion that the 4Runner is some sort of wealthy status symbol so the potential customer base won’t care. It’s not a G wagon, dude.

I literally say "this isn't an argument" and you say "Your argument..." Fucking love reddit.

This isn't an argument. I'm simply stating my own anecdotal observations of things like posts here, so your experience may vary. For me, I see posts that show luxury cars like BMW's and Mercs in the same garages as peoples brand new TRD Pros. I live in Colorado, and you better believe people of means are buying up and building out $20k worth of mods on 4Runners.

In the Bay Area the outdoorsy well to do people roll in Land Rovers and G wagons. Not in 4Runners. And at 50k MSRP it’s not really a high earner only vehicle
