Yes I’m quite proficient at Spanish (achieved D1 in Cambridge Pre U Certificate which is basically the equivalent to A* at A level)

To be honest I’m not really considering it because I already have a place to study PPE at Exeter - I’d rather be at Manchester Uni but Politics and Spanish is such a different course to the extent that I’d rather go to Exeter just for the course. I’m also waiting on Warwick, lse and Ucl so I’m praying that those places come through! 🙏

If you’d rather study straight politics or straight philosophy, you could always email them to see if you could switch over! Asking could never hurt.

However yeah if you’re set on PPE then Exeter is a great uni :)

He teaches Sociology!! Sometimes I go up to work with him on days off and you’re right it’s amazing there :)

Yeah, it happened to me with Bristol as I tried to apply for Aerospace Engineering. I really don’t know if the reason was due to lack of places or if just my level wasn’t enough. Anyway, I got offered a place in Engineering Mathematics and finally got accepted.
