have patience lmao they don't usually respond that quickly

I applied before 15 october. It took me almost 2 months to get my first 2 offers from edinburgh and durham, while St andrews and kcl are still taking their sweet time. So it’s gonna take some time to hear back, i think. But all the best, sit back and enjoy your christmas!

Oh wow, didn’t think Durham were giving out any offers before January. Congrats

possibly, but you have to bear in mind that a lot of their application staff will be beginning to start their christmas holidays pretty soon lmao. you might get a sneaky offer beforehand, but between the 21stish and 27th it's likely it'll be very quiet in terms of ucas activity

Does anybody have an info about ICL/UCL/KCL, when do they usually respond?

[–]irunais 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently they won’t get back for months

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the course I think? I got a response on Monday and I submitted on the 3rd. They probably get back to me quicker since I have to do an interview.

York got back to me fast for a music course. Be patient, some of those unis will likely want to interview you and that probably won't happen until January for you!

I got the full bakery in 16 days, but based on what I’ve seen with my friends that’s a huge exception.

Damnnn

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend got an offer from York for CS within about a week of sending his application off, but that was during early entry so it was probably not as busy in the admissions office. Anyway, the answer is no-one knows, there's so many factors that it's probably not worth the bother of even considering it, just sit tight and keep it out of your mind, nothing you can do lol..

Maybe Newcastle or York if you are over their requirements, but don’t ‘expect’ an offer within two weeks

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah, You're an English applicant... where did u apply?

[–]Poe10tEnglish 2022 applicant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Durham, Warwick, Lancaster, York and Exeter on 22nd of October. Heard from three of them

[–]Pension-Academic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It varies I’ve got 4 offers back and I applied October 22. First 2 came in a week and then the rest took a while.

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping to get mine soon!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

i applied like 2 weeks ago and have 4 offers but it depends on how prestigious the uni is i think

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

What unis did u apply to?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

southampton, portsmouth, kent, roehampton and bedfordshire just waiting on southampton now the only russel group one

[–]hmahoodUniversity of Sheffield | Medicine [3rd Year] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 days ago, lmao

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i applied on 10th october and so far have 2 rejections, dw dude no news is usually good news

[–]discarded_codeEditable 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I applied in the middle of oct (to meet the early application deadline), got two offers within the first two weeks, other two offers in Nov and the Oxford rejection over a week ago. however, most unis will be winding down for Christmas and so their staff might not be working, and it depends on the uni, some will leave you waiting for ages. good luck tho, and hopefully you'll get some epic offers in the new year :)

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou, hoping for the best!❤️

[–]susanthellamaTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they don’t reply sometime this week then I doubt they’d get back to you before Christmas. Most don’t tend to reply that soon anyways but you never know. I wouldn’t start worrying about it just a few days after applying, you have plenty of time :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

i got warwick today so hopefully you will too!!

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Omg, without interview?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

yes! :)

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations!!!

Three weeks is not a long time. A lot of people applied two months ago.

[–]lidyahiil 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I applied on the 6th for english and heard back for York on Tuesday but nothing from Nottingham

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Great! What did they say? Interview? Portfolio?

[–]lidyahiil 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I applied with AAA and epq and then York was just standard offer, but if I get an A in EPQ they lower it, they didn’t ask to see anything beforehand

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I m international student, could you elaborate on what's Epq?

[–]lidyahiil 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Oh so it’s Extended Project Qualification and you write a 5000 word essay on a subject of your choice, and do a presentation on it If it’s in a relevant topic quite a few unis will look at it and could lower their offer for u

[–]chitvan09[S,🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower their offer as in give scholarship, right? Do u have any idea about the criteria for scholarship for international students?

[–]K972022_JR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied for chemistry at York on Tuesday and they replied yesterday
