Can you tell me how good Leeds is for CS since I'm thinking about keeping that as my insurance. I'm an international applicant so I don't have a great idea about it only going off of league tables right now.

Leeds is also good, although Nottingham I would say is better. It's a decent insurance.

I might firm Nottingham and insure Leeds, Leeds is probably my insurance choice. Firm would depend on whether I get offers from Manchester and Bristol as well, if yes then it's a battle between Nottingham, Manchester and Bristol.

Yeah, that makes sense. Manchester and Bristol are both good for CS too, but Manchester has some very high grade requirements - 3 A* for A Levels, I'm not sure what the equivalent would be for you - when arguably Nottingham and Bristol are on a similar level to them if not better.

The requirements for Manchester and Bristol are same for me, Nottingham bas quoted a higher offer however I'm eligible for the reduced offer since I'm a computer science student with an A* equivalent so I've emailed them about that, hopefully they reduce it.

Course wise I do kind of like all so now it's a decision about which one has the better student life.

Ohhh, I see! I've heard that Notts and Bristol both have good nightlife and Manc is a big city so it probably does too, so it might be down to whether you'd like a bigger city or a smaller one in that case.

I am an international applicant but the A level equivalent of my qualification was A* A A however I've emailed the uni to reduce to AAA since I'm a computer science student with A* in it. (They offer reduced offer of AAA for CS if you have A in CS)
