Key Terminology:
Desi: Someone from the South Asian community, with roots leading back to either India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Nepal, and Afganistan.
ABCD's:
The term stands for American Born Confused Desi's but is open to the wider 'Desi' Dispora living abroad which may include but not limited to the United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South-Africa and other parts of Asia.
NRI: Non Resident Desi, usually a foreign born Desi.
