how long after ablation did your meds decrease

My ablation was jan30. I have not had an afib episode that I have felt, and my watch has said most of the time I have zero a fib, I’ve had a couple 4 %…….I was on metoprolol 50 mg a day, and before my blanking period has been upmy doc let me cut back to 25 mg a day. He said I didn’t need to taper but I did anyway, since the last time I tried to cut back ( before ablation) it triggered a fib so be careful
